Frequently Asked Questions
What types of concrete driveways do you install?
Plain, coloured, exposed aggregate, permeable and our pavilion (polished) finish. We do single driveways for homes, plus longer shared driveways for unit developments.
How much does a concrete driveway cost?
As a guide, plain concrete is $120 to $150 per m² +GST, coloured is $110 to $160 per m² +GST and exposed aggregate is $140 to $220 per m² +GST. Most of our residential jobs are between $8,000 and $30,000. We'll give you an exact price after a free site visit.
How long does it take to install a concrete driveway?
Most driveways take 3 to 7 days, depending on the size, the finish and the weather.
How long before I can drive on my new driveway?
Allow 7 days for the concrete to cure before you drive on it. We'll talk you through the dos and don'ts on the day.
Do I need a council permit?
if you’re building or modifying a vehicle crossover. The property owner is responsible for obtaining the required council permit. Once approved, we complete the works in accordance with council specifications.
What's the difference between plain and exposed aggregate concrete?
Plain concrete has a smooth, clean finish and is the most budget-friendly option. Exposed aggregate has the top layer washed back to show the stones underneath, so it's textured, has more grip and hides marks well. It costs a little more, but it's our most popular finish.
